James has worked in Student Events since leaving college in 2001. He became Managing Director of the pioneering ‘Nightclub Information’ before leaving to found Wicked Student Nights in 2005. James is a zealous entrepreneur, whose brands span events, digital marketing, experiential campaigns and event day staffing but it’s his passion for student events that has seen Wicked Student Nights go from strength to strength! He strived to build a hard-working, fun-loving team who are passionate about the business but still love to party!
It's James’ Vision that has taken Wicked Student Nights from a fun project to the UK's most influential and professional Student Events brand.
Ferg has been immersed in the student events scene since he first started promoting parties whilst studying at King’s College London. James brought Ferg into various businesses, including Nightclub Information, before they founded Wicked Student Nights. Ferg has a strong belief that the success of the student events scene is based on the involvement of current students, and our unique commission structure, meant students could be involved like never before (and rewarded for their hard work.)
This involvement with clubs, societies and key individuals, laid the blueprint for Wicked Student Nights progression to working as official nightlife partners with so many Students Unions, something that was previously unheard of.
Jason first worked with Wicked Student Nights as a fresher studying Business at the University of Westminster. Jason developed a passion for the events business and on graduating was drawn to the world’s biggest party destination, Ibiza. He rose to become events and promotions manager at Pukka Up Boat Parties, but when he was ready to return to London, there was only one team he wanted to work with! Jason joined as Head of Events and is now running the show as Managing Director.
Jason’s passion for music sees him travel the world and his network of DJs ranging from new underground talent to some of the biggest stars in the world is unparalleled.
Originally from New Zealand, Eva joined the Wicked Student Nights team to help take things to the next level! After running some huge (and hugely successful) events in London over the last few years she is now excited to be managing weekly events for the first time and getting stuck into the exciting, lively student market. As a recent graduate, Eva knows how important epic but affordable student nights are.
She loves a fresh concept, but also knows that a great party atmosphere is the key to an amazing night. You’ll see Eva managing many of our events, so be sure to say hi!
After leaving one of the most prestigious Public Schools in the country, Lord Jonathan Harris defied his father’s wishes and started his foray into the world of London nightlife.
He started as a table booker for VIP clients, before launching legendary London nightspots such as No.5 Cavendish Square and Attica. Johnny became director of the revolutionary 24 Kingly St. where he welcomed a host of VIPs and celebrities.
Struck by inspiration, he upped sticks and moved to Ibiza. Johnny worked to establish Ocean Beach Ibiza as the island’s number one VIP hangout. After 5 years on the White Isle, he was ready to return to London and is excited to be working with James and Ferg across a range of projects, bringing his wealth of experience to Wicked Student Nights whenever it’s called upon.
Marina is the Baby of the Wicked Student Nights Team, currently studying her final year of Fashion Promotion at Ravensbourne University. Although she’s studying a fashion course, she’s found that her true passion lies in events. She is an avid music fan, and was looking for an introduction to the events industry when along came Wicked Student Nights!
She started in July, just in time to become an invaluable asset during our preparations for Freshers 2015. She is a great addition to the team, using the knowledge gained from her studies and sharing her insights into the wants and needs of current students.
After moving to London, Rickie didn’t hold back getting involved in the student events scene. He began by setting up his own student parties, DJing anywhere and everywhere he could, and generally ensuring all his peers had a great time! He created a fantastic network, and it was inevitable that his crowd would find their way to Wicked Student Nights’ events.
Rickie joined the Wicked Student Nights team this summer, bringing a unique perspective from both sides of the decks. He loves to keep on top of new trends in music and entertainment and loves to help keep Wicked Student Nights parties fresh and innovative.
Dom is the man who takes the Wicked Student Nights team’s vision and turns it into reality. Dom’s background in the Student Events industry means he understands our vision, and can put his design skills into place in an industry he loves!
